New Year, New Website, New Projects

Why, hello there.

It’s been a looong time since I’ve sent a newsletter. Four years to be exact. How embarrassing.

And now, here I am to:
1. Pick up where I left off
2. To give you super duper major updates
3. To ask for your forgiveness

There are a LOT of updates, but I think you will really dig them so please keep reading!

First, allow me to ask for forgiveness…

For the past couple of years, I really slacked on fulfilling orders through my site. I refunded most orders, but some fell through the cracks. My site was so outdated and I wasn’t getting the proper notifications. If you placed an order, never got a refund or a zine, PLEASE reach out to me and I will send money back to you and make it up to you!!

How did this mess happen in the first place? Well, I have no excuse for fucking up. It’s been tough the past few years because I did not have my own place or space to manage my creative projects. My zines ended up in boxes in different houses all the time. I finally moved into my own apartment again after almost 10 years of living with different family members! I am able to sprawl out and be more organized! You have no idea how excited I am for this new chapter in my life. I can’t wait to create again! My creative juices have been flowing like crazy! Stay tuned, there’s a lot coming in 2020! 🙂

Website Completely Revamped!

Now for the fun updates. My site was hella old and neglected. This is bit ironic because I own a web design company and build sites for a living! Oops! I am so excited to present to you the new Anatomic Air Press site (that you see here!) I completely changed the domain name as it used to be nuonis.com.

I got rid of a ton of clutter and old posts, but kept the most popular ones:

I also completely revamped my zine images to ones that are much sexier. Ooh la la! Everything is much more simplified and I totally dig the new look. Hope you do too!

Zines Are No Longer For Sale

A big decision I decided to make: stop selling my zines on my website and on Etsy. I simply can not keep up with individual orders as they come in. This doesn’t mean that they won’t be available anymore, they just won’t be as accessible, unfortunately. This also doesn’t mean it’s permanent, but for now, I am firm on this.

As a result, I have decided to sell my zines periodically, when I am able to reprint and can take in an influx of orders. But sales will only be available to a select few (for the most part), which leads me to…

New Zines and Projects

Now for the new zines I’ve created that I haven’t sent an update on the past couple of years. I’m going to try to be a lot more consistent going forward so you can get first dibs.

Viridis Venefica
This is a “newsletter” zine. It’s just like what you get in your emails, but MUCH cooler. It has a “newspaper” kinda look and it will provide you with fun updates on my life, thoughts, projects, etc. I will also feature an interview in each issue! Learn more about the project here.

Dear You
This is a super tiny love letter – to my soulmate I’ve never met (or maybe I have?) It’s a tribute made for single people and I debuted it on Valentine’s Day in 2019. Learn more about the project here.

Soliloquy
This zine was fun to make, but also kind of a pain in the ass. lol. This zine is a big hit because I hand Brailled every single cover. Learn more about the project here.

Those are the 3 newest projects for now, but in addition to a regular issue of Viridis Venefica going forward, I also have some more projects I plan to complete this year. As I mentioned, they will only be available my Patreon subscribers, so jump on it! 🙂

New Address!

I’m sad to share that I forgot to renew my old PO Box I’ve had for about 13 years. So I no longer have it. I have a new address now! It is PO Box 54173, Atlanta, GA 30308. Please do NOT send anything to my old address which is PO Box 1602, Decatur, GA 30031.

Zine Fests

I plan to table at a couple of zine fests this year, so my zines will be available for sale there as well. I will send updates on when registrations are confirmed so you’ll know where I’ll be!
